Young Farmers & Ranchers
Purpose:
- Develop future leaders for Farm Bureau &
agriculture
- Get young members acquainted with Farm Bureau
- Increase young farmer involvement in Farm Bureau
- Develop capable rural leadership
- Build enthusiasm in the organization
Activities:
- YF&R Conference at Tan-Tar-A each February
- YF&R Breakfast at the MFB Annual Meeting each
December
- Sponsor YF&R Achievement Award program and
Discussion Meet
- Sponsor county and multi-county Market Outlook
meetings
- Work with and develop leadership in other groups
such as FFA, Vo-Ag, and Collegiate Farm Bureau
